Application

Spray dryer is used in the process of drying and dehydrating substances from a solution or a colloid. Raw material can be in a form of a paste or liquid, and the end product of drying is fine powder, dust or agglomerate.

Description

The idea of the spraying dryer is spraying the liquid raw material by an atomizer inside the drying chamber which at the same time is supplied with hot air. Contact of the raw material with the drying factor causes rapid evaporation of the solvent.
Product in the form of a fine powder falls down to the bottom of the drying chamber. Dried product is separated from the air in a battery of cyclones, and then packed into bags. Air from the dryer, before being thrown out into the atmosphere, is cleaned in a bag filter.
