Installation of sugar silos with pneumatic transport to mixers

Installation of sugar silos with pneumatic transport to mixers

A sugar silos system with pneumatic transport was installed, designed to automatically feed sugar to mixers at the production plant. The system enables unloading of sugar from tanker trucks, storage in silos, and precise dosing onto production lines.

The project was implemented as a complete, integrated installation for the food and confectionery industry, meeting high performance and operational requirements.

Scope of realization– sugar installation

As part of the realization, we executed:

  • two storage silos for sugar,
  • two filter cyclones with sugar dosing to existing mixers,
  • pneumatic system for unloading sugar tank trucks and loading silos,
  • pneumatic transport of sugar from silos to filter cyclones and mixers.

The solutions used ensure production continuity and full control over the raw material feeding process.

Project goal – automation of sugar feeding

The goal of the realization was:

  • automation of the process of feeding sugar to production,
  • elimination of big bag packaging,
  • reducing the workload of staff and improving work ergonomics,
  • increasing the safety and hygiene of the technological process.

Technical parameters of the installation

  • tanker unloading capacity: ~25 t/h,
  • sugar transport efficiency per production: 2.7 t/h

The effect of implementation

The implemented sugar silos with pneumatic transport ensure stable, fast, and safe delivery of sugar to the production process. This solution is dedicated to food and confectionery industries that require high efficiency, automation, and reduced operating costs.
